Along with expert teachers, students will work with a variety of materials depending on their course type and objectives. EF publishes educational media in-house, which allows us to tailor our content to match our students’ needs. Our commitment to development is ongoing: we have adopted a principle of formative evaluation, which uses regular feedback from all stakeholders to inform the creation of the next generation of the materials.
Onze Engelse tekstboeken en online cursussen zijn geschikt voor alle niveaus, van beginnersniveau tot vloeiend. De cursussen bieden de basiselementen van taalonderwijs zoals grammatica, vocabulaire en uitspraak. Daarnaast wordt er bijzondere aandacht besteed aan communicatie in realistische contexts. Ook ligt er nadruk op alle vier de taalvaardigheden: lezen, schrijven, luisteren en spreken. Een task-based aanpak wordt gebruikt in het ontwikkelen van de materialen voor spreken en schrijven. De cursussen streven daarnaast ook naar het ontwikkelen van vaardigheden die nodig zijn voor alle belangrijke ESOL examens. Ook richten ze zich op het bieden van achtergrondinformatie voor iedereen die graag in een internationale omgeving wil werken.
The Efekta series includes textbooks and online courses, divided into individual units of instruction, currently numbering 112. The print series is structured with 4 books (A, B, C, D) for each language proficiency level, with 4 units per book. The materials include student and teacher books, audio CDs, and supplemental worksheets, quizzes, and communicative activities.

The EF English Guides are a series of language reference books for learners of English. Each Guide provides helpful strategies to learn English, a comprehensive listing of key vocabulary and grammar items for each major level in the EF system. The series includes the following titles:
Trailblazers is a five-stage communicative course for learners aged 11-16. The textbook series is accompanied by a comprehensive range of supplementary materials including audio CDs, phonics CD and worksheets, flashcards, posters, workcards, quizzes, game cards and test papers.
For younger learners aged 6-10, EF has produced the fully illustrated High Flyers series. The materials consist of student and teacher books, audio CDs, phonics activities, flashcards, posters, workcards, quizzes, game cards, songs, and test papers.
